SYRINGE FILTERING AND LAB USE
Use the press for applications requiring slow, controlled pressure through a syringe filter. Its compact benchtop design provides powerful mechanical leverage without the cost, noise, or installation requirements of an industrial pneumatic press.
VIAL COMPATIBILITY
The press base holds vials ranging from 21 mm to 25 mm in 1 mm increments. Vial diameters vary between manufacturers, so an exact fit isn’t guaranteed for every vial. The plastic vial insert has a small amount of flex, allowing the vial to press into the closest size and remain securely in place during use.
Syringe, ratchet, clamps, and grease aren’t included.

MATERIAL AND CARE
– Made from PLA+
– Wipe clean with a damp cloth
– Don’t place in a dishwasher or expose to high heat
– Don’t leave in a hot car or direct sunlight, as heat may cause warping
– Minor surface variations are normal with FDM 3D-printed parts
– Reapply silicone grease to threaded parts as needed
WARNING:
Designed for use with compatible plastic syringes only. Metal and glass syringes aren’t recommended. The glass-syringe video shows a controlled stress test and doesn’t demonstrate intended or safe use. Glass syringes can shatter under pressure. Operate slowly, inspect all components before each use, and wear appropriate eye and hand protection. Rapid cranking or excessive force may damage the press, syringe, or filter and cause injury. Use at your own risk.
